Composite Fencing Wood Fence Or Composite Fence?

Wood fence or composite fence? - composite fencing

I'm trying to decide if I should my old cedar or cedar fence to replace the complex. Has anyone done research on the two in terms of sustainability, maintenance, security, appearance, compare installation, and the costs?

I was a carpenter for 20 years, and my heart that all that wood is better. I love it. However, unless you live in an old, rustic, paneling and try on a subject, and love (like me) to follow the yearly maintenance that should be recommended connections. Like the previous answer, the connection is vague. There are other options, such as vinyl. The technology has passed the tree. Taking into account maintenance, long-term durability and a consistent global synthesis is the right way. But I hope, with old trades have a certain pride in Thompson slappin in the spring, will replace one or two tables. I hope I was a little help Ya. Good luck with your project. PS: If your in the SW I'm a joiner lol.

Depending on whom you are going.
You mean, vinyl fences?
The composite material is often used to cover.
The installation is not much different, less maintenance and vinyl compounds, however, the cedar is very durable and resistant to last longer (against pests), the costs are generally vinyl compounds (initially).
I returned my 90 years old house (not most of the work itself), and I personally do not like the look of vinyl fence pickets, deformed after a while, just do not cut or Nice appearance is nice and warm .. Search is too sterile and not very strong.
With cedar pickets, you can usually get 10 to 15 years of use before needed replacement.
