As always my Bridal Shower cake made by my hairdresser, who has begun to wedding cakes on the side a year ago. See the link below. The first picture is the cake of my choice. (pink ribbon with pink flowers) They say they do not use the tape as it bleeds into the icing. You can use the tape on the cake!
You can find the right band!
If you used the tape is not dyed and the color does not bleed.
If you use the colored ribbon, they can bleed.
eaither you or your cake decorator should save you a tissue and ask for a tape in the color you want is not dyed. color is usually the type of satin ribbons, you can try to stay away from them too.

Fondant is terrible. If you have or weddings, before I knew that the wedding cake can be terrible. Basically, the base like dough and it tastes terrible habit Date of flavor to your cake. If you use a good band, it should not bleed into the cake. I would say it is better seasoned, a band of high quality and delicious ice cream used in butter with your favorite cake. Maybe even have different flavors for different levels, but I tell you to melt the ice is the worst ever!

My cake is tape around her! I'll buy the cassette and the designer is to wear them. They said that the river is very loved by all and will not eat. It is also more expensive. Stay with the basics. Most people do not give a good insight on the cake.

I was on a wedding cake when it round real band around him. Although the tapes do not bleed into the cake (white icing, the film is black) was a pain to have to cut, too. We had to take off the tape before cutting the cake, they made a big mess. I went with fondant. It is quite, does not taste that great, but I think it would be easier to cut.

I decorate cakes for life and making wedding cakes at about 100 per year. I have a lot of cakes with tape and had no problems, some bleed darker colors of May and some types of tape can. I usually use the cheap tape, which looks like a satin ribbon (talk to a florist, take) Fondant works, but is more like a paste and then taste sweet and not very good, but only if that should not be a problem for tape. I suggest in my own cake and had no problems with the rule, not my cake the night before, she could not before, so you have bleeding problems.
